I've had these for a week and a day now and I can say I am intoxicated by these studio monitors. I had originally intended for these to be the "second" monitor in the chain. I bought a set of stands to have them a little wider than my desk and higher than my JBL MKII 305P. But, after hooking them up initially on the desk (There is a one inch foam thing for them to sit on) replacing the JBLs, I'm not sure I need the JBLs now. And so I don't need the stands. I am so pleased with these! I hooked them up, turned on some Slipknot live concert, and wheeled in the kitchen to fry some bacon. These things are loud was my first impression. Much louder than the JBLs, which is pleasing to me from the kitchen over the sound of bacon splatter. And after the initial sound off I started playing other music pieces through them at different volumes as I sat in front of the desk to hear the tonalities they produced. First off, they are very clear. A jump ahead of the JBLs which were a huge jump ahead of the Altec Lansings I had from 30 years ago. They seem to have a wider listening dispersion than the JBLs but maybe that is just perceived. It may be the ribbon tweeter or something but I don't feel the need to move one left or right a quarter inch to get that sweet spot like I did in the JBLs. The clarity in these and bass response is beyond comprehension when I used to think I needed a 12 inch woofer to enjoy music. I can't wait to try out some home recording in the future, something I've dreamed of doing.

But wait, it gets even better. Amazon, or the ADAM Audio store is offering these for $40 off each speaker to bring it to $400 a pair. But, I suspect they began this sale with a $40 coupon you had to click on that they forgot to remove when they just offered the $40 off because I got both. I got the $40 off and then clicked on the coupon button for $40 off and it worked. I got $80 off each speaker for $160 off the pair. The coupon button has since been removed because I checked for a friend. Even so, $400 shipped Prime is an unbelievable value for these in my humble, no shill opinion.

I bought the T7 version 4 years ago.  Great sounding monitors.  Also added their subwoofer.
