3+ months in my hands and this has become my #1. It took me a bit in the beginning to hit the notes. The neck seemed extra long and I'd always hit a fret or two off toward the nut. Not sure if that's up the neck or down. I did this while I was playing the guitar at the shop and it was somewhat embarrassing. Then after getting used to it I couldn't go back to my Hamers without the same problem in reverse, the necks felt shorter, the guitar sits on my knee differently, I have to pay strict attention to the inlays for a bit. Now I can switch back and forth more easily but still prefer the Gibson LPC / SG. I'm not going to sell my Hamers, yet, because they have different appointments for different tones / songs. I can tell you the LPC / SG sounds incredible through the handwired '64 Deluxe Reverb @Dutchman built. Tone report on that coming up.
