1966 Fender Pro Reverb FS

I am finally parting with my 1966 Pro Reverb. I am after something different than a Fender clean. This amp has been my baby for a long time, and has not left my home, even for a practice. It is in fantastic shape for an amp this old. The transformers, tolex and grill clothe are original, and have no rips or tears. The pics have eminence speakers, but I sold those. Also, the grill looks silver in the pic, but it's more of a brownish, must be my camera.

I have a weber copper cap rectifier in it, as well as two brand new Sovtek 6L6s with zero hours on them, and an assortment of 12AX7s, some newer Groove Tubes, Sovtek, as well as Mullard 12AT7s. Plenty of life left on the tubes. The amp also has a newer Fender cover. My tech went over it last year, replaced what needed to be, and gave it a clean bill of health. There are no noises or pops.

Tonal wise it is one of the most magical Fender tones I have ever played. Clean and tight at lower volumes, and if can even do some overdrive if you push it past 6 or 7. Very versatile. I have the copper cap in it so I can play rock. It has a little tighter sound than with a tube in there. I currently have Weber Ceramic Blue Dogs in it. I prefer to keep them. As I said, I am really after a different tone, more of a semi clean, EL84 type tone. I need the Weber's for my cabinet when I buy a new head or combo.

I am selling the amp speakerless, but with the tubes for $1450 shipped. If you really want the Weber, make it $1650 shipped. I will have the UPS store professional pack it.

I don’t really want trades, but if you have the right head or combo, I may. Germino Classic 45s, Dr Z. Stangrays, Valvetech Hayseeds, etc. E-mail me with any questions, concerns, etc.
