Punkavenger Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I have a mint cond. Korean standard and a 59 Gibson LG-O mahogany acoustic for trade The korean standard is perfect in everyway with a real SD 59/Duncan distortion and recent set up ... OHSC in great shape I bought it from the original owner who never even put the strings on it, I even have the hangtag The 1959 Gibson acoustic is super cool with tortoise binding and black pickguard Perfect size for blues and has more mojo than a ... well I don't know what, but lots! This guitar was on hold at Jensen music for Kenny Ball of Kenny Ball and Tom Sultan fame ... a famous blues team in the Santa Barbara area He decided not to purchase it after buying a very expensive vintage Martin Chris Jensen, all around good guy and owner of Jensen music said it had the straightest neck he had ever seen on a vintage Gibson All 100% original, tuners etc. The top was cracked and repaired professionally by Chris Jensen himself I paid $600.00 for it 5 years ago and the way prices are going up on vintage guitars I'm guessing its worth at least a grand now includes brand new TKL hardcase I would be willing to trade BOTH for a really nice shredder or USA standard in player cond. (atquinns Cali would be fine, lol) Thanks! as a special deal to HFC members I would be willing to sell the Standard for $400.00 and the Gibson for $600 ... what I paid for them a few years back
