Both Items have been sold -- thanks!

Now that the Newport's in the house, I have major HAS (Hamer Acquistition Syndrome). Here's some great trade bait available or I will sell outright.

High end Line 6 Variax 700 hardtail with Trans-Red Mahogany and Ash body and the Maple neck is a classic C shape and very comfortable. Rosewood fretboard and medium frets are in excellent shape and a breeze to play. The body is interesting to look at as you see no pickups -- Just wood and the hardtail bridge. All pickup configurations are based on the individual model that you are playing at the moment. Just a few of the guitars available include:

  • Telecaster: 1960 Custom, 1968 Thinline, 1968 Modified Standard
  • Stratocaster: 1959 Standard
  • Les Paul: '58 Standard, '52 Goldtop (P-90's), '61 Custom (3-pickup), '56 LP Junior, '55 LP Special
  • Gretsch: '59 6120, '56 Silver Jet
  • Rickenbacker: '68 360, '66 360-12 (12-String)
  • Other Models: '76 Firebird V, '61 ES-335, '67 Epi Casino, '57 ES-175, '53 Super 400

Add to that collection 5 different acoustic models, a couple resonators, a banjo and an electric Sitar!!! Virtually every famous electric model is available. They did a very good job in the modeling of the tones from the pickups and body styles. Very versatile!

Also included in the deal is the Pod XT Live. I'm sure you guys have heard about or played with this. For the rock player, this is a great modeling board. However, the power of the Pod XT comes when you play the Variax.

What makes this guitar/pedalboard combo work so well is the fact that they really do work together. Through the included multi-conductor cable (looks like an Ethernet cable), the guitar and Pod XT talk with each other, automatically changing the effects presets based upon which guitar and pickup combination you select on the guitar. Very cool! You can also download a variety of new presets to the Pod from the Line 6 website via USB connection, or create a completely new guitar by combining different body styles with new pickups. ever wonder what a Strat would sound like with Gretsch Toaster p'ups. it's easy to do!

Includes all cables, power supplies, manuals, foorswitches, and gigbags. To get more info, check out the Line 6 website at www.line6.com .

I'll sell the combo for $1400 shipped to lower 48. I'm also very interested in trading for a comparably valued Hamer - DuoTone is first choice, but interested in whatever USA you have. Drop me a PM or email if you're interested!

Thanks!

Saw Steve Howe solo last year, and that's the only electric rig he had on stage. He raved on the virtues of it for about ten minutes. Sounded awesome, of course it was Steve Howe playing it (probably had a little to do with the sounding awesome part).
