MrGuitarguy Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 A guy I am doing acoustic gigs with told me the other day that he has a 1979 brazilian rosewood cruise (i think it's a cruise) bass. He said, it's been played a bit, but sounds amazing. Any ballpark what something like this might be worth? He was curious.
serial Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 The Cruisebass first appeared in 1981. I am not sure about there being any with Brazilian rosewood, but I suppose anything is possible. Value would possibly be affected by whether is was a four digit serial or a production number. If you know the serial number, I could probably get you more information. Production Cruisebasses in clean condition seem to be in the $400-550 range when they come up. If worn, probably less.
