tomjoyce Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Mint condition amp. For those that don't know it is a single ended class A 15W amp that is unique in that you can put in practically any tubes you want without rebiasing. You can tweak the tone forever by trying new tubes. Also unique in that they have a THD Hotplate power attenuator built in so you can drive the tubes full blast at volumes that are OK for home use. Great studio amp. Mint condition, serial number 1272.$625 shipped. This is a killer deal. Comes with 12 tubes. Right now it has two Electro Harmonix 12AX7 and 1 EH EL34, but I plan to pull them out for shipping, unless you request otherwise. Also comes with (one each unless noted): Golden Dragon 5881, Groove Tubes GT KT66HP, JJ 6L6GC, JJ EL84, two JJ ECC81, and three more EH 12AX7. Also, I would trade it for a good Hamer, perhaps a strat of equivalent value, or maybe something else, who knows. Recently I traded a Newport for a MusicMan, and I'd never played a Music Man before so I thought I might be making a mistake, and it turns out to be the best ghitar I ever played, so I'm willing to try something new on a trade...
BadJaxx Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 i have a near mint 2003 American Strat with Sperzel locking tuners, Fender Vintage Noiseless pups, and pro lightly scalloped maple neck, in Butterscotch...REALLY nice Strat....best i've tried except maybe for the EJ....but i guess it still can't make me a Strat player....i just play blues licks on it...no nicks or scratches, etc.

Any pics?
tomjoyce Posted November 23, 2006 Author Posted November 23, 2006 email sent...gorgeous guitar, but I don't think I could handle a scalloped neck, I fret too hard. Amp still available.
