Stike Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 What's a serial loop? I was planning on this flow,DMC GCX for switching a few stompboxes and preamp channels>preamp>G Major>Power amp. DMC Ground Control Pro on the floor.
jisham Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 Does your preamp have an FX loop? If so, it's either serial or parallel and G Majors don't like parallel loops.
Stike Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 It's a Peavey Rockmaster with a separate loop for each channel. Cool feature but I don't really need it with a GCX. That's why I had planned on just feeding the signal through the G Major and into the power amp.
