RacerX Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Hi gang, Up for grabs is my 1977 Marshall Master 50 watt head and matching 1977 1960a slant cab . The head sounds killer. Fresh el34 conversion (a resistor and move a wire) with matched Groove tube golds and a vintage Amperex 12ax7 in the the first preamp position for creamy goodness! The head had a loop when I got it but it's back to 100% stock now, I left the extra 2 jack holes in front since I dig the 4hole look but you can replace the front panel and no one would ever know the loop was there. No extra chassis holes since all chassis are drilled for 4 inputs (and 3 toggles) anyway, the face plates just changed for different models and different features. The 1960a has original blackback 25watt celestions with original cones. Some tolex repairs and painted in areas at the rear edge of the cab, new (matching) tolex on back door and new correct large check grill. Orig casters. The bottom cab is sold. I don't really want to ship these so a local Chicagoland deal is better, plus you can check them out in person. Looking for $2k on the head and slant cab. Won't split the pair.
