Zoner Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 This was my Christmas present and never got the love it needed from me since I found a killer Jeff Beck Strat shortly after I unwrapped it, so off it must go. This comes with the deluxe CS embroidered case and all candy, and is like new, or as close to new as a Closet Classic can be. This is truly a superb Strat and the list on these went up to something like $3400 this year - plus I have heard they are to be discontinued due to this model having a neck unique to this model. GC sold them at $1800 last year and I'm told they can't get them any more. The specs on the Fender website show a couple changes from mine, mainly the truss rod adjustment (mine is at the base of the neck, not the headstock as the website shows) and mine has stock Sperzels rather than the Fender/Schaller locking tuners. Alpine White with Rosewood, Samarium Cobalt pickups that are dead quiet and sound great (Bill Lawrence designed) and superb build quality. Looking for $1550 shipped in the US. Thanks. Z
