bass plate for Daytona single coil pup

You mean a Tele style plate? I have one somewhere. It makes the pickup a little more powerful and a lot brighter.

If I can find it, you can have it....if you want it that is.

A bass plate is a small metal plate the same shape as a single coil pickup. You attach it to the back of the bridge position single coil for more bass response. They have them on the Fralin site for 10 bucks. I thought this was a common mod and that there would be a few floating around out there somewhere.

Yeah, it's patterned after the Tele bridge pickup, which has a steel baseplate.

I have one for Strats lying around. Like I said, it increases output a little and high end a lot (IMO at least). PM me your address and I'll dig it up.

You have to 'glue' it on, I used silicone caulk, and then you ground it (wire attached).
