Beergoblin Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 This head is in great shape. The power section has been retubed/biased with JJ 6L6's. I will include the footswitch as well. There are no rips or tears in the tolex, everything is very clean and in great condition. The amp will be shipped in the original Engl box. Looking for $1350 shipped.
Beergoblin Posted May 18, 2007 Author Posted May 18, 2007 It does rip and I'm gonna miss it I can always get another one though and I've got a few other amps I've been itchin to try out for awhile now.

Beergoblin Posted May 18, 2007 Author Posted May 18, 2007 Unfortunately no, it fell through. Scheduling has become a continued problem. There's a small nucleus of guys that do want to get together though still, so I'm probably just going to have people over by my place. My basement is big enough to fit a small group of guys with their amps (plus there's a built in bar w/tv and kegger raider within arms reach so how can you go wrong?!) so we're going to try and work that out sometime in the next month or so. I'll let you know if and when we ever decide on a date if you'd like to drop on by.

DavidE Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Does it come with an old reel to reel tape deck for use as a preamp and/or echo unit? ;-)
Beergoblin Posted May 18, 2007 Author Posted May 18, 2007 Sounds pretty similar to the Savage overall IMO. The Savage was ultimately more versatile on the fly due to the separate gains per channel, but in the long run the Blackmore is still an extremely versatile head regardless of the shared gain controls. The major noteable differences are that the bottom end on the Savage is definately deeper/more shapeable and the overall feel is a little more spongy (if that makes any sense) compared to the Blackmore - which has really been the only thing I have disliked about the Blackmore overall. My number one reason for selling is to get my bank account back under wraps. I am going to try the new Marshall JVM, but if that doesn't work out I'll be back to the Blackmore in the near future. Does it come with an old reel to reel tape deck for use as a preamp and/or echo unit? ;-) Nnnoooo seeeee!
