BadJaxx Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 i like the look of the Talledega...and the idea of the Phat Cats...would have preferred 25" scale... wouldn't be called a Tele guy even though i have a couple... i'd have to wait till you can get a used bargain... i recently bought this Chafin Ember Custom which reminds me of a Talledega...
ArnieZ Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 And Arnie, to confirm something I had heard earlier along those lines, those same "CUSTOM" designated models will also come stock w/a bound headstock, correct?I thought the bound headstock was already part of that package! I also forgot to mention that the Talladega won an editor's pick award from GP, that's 6 in a row!ArnieZ
teleman Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Players that play teles are "TelePlayers!" Guitarists that play LP's Strats, gretches etc.. are just that ..Guitarists that play those guitars. Now if Hamer can start a league ot "Talledaga" players..now they've really achieved something!! IMHO of course.Oh and one other thing ..Arnie ..I'm pissed your didn't give me a call when you made the trip to New Harford... just kididng!
belgian Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 There's a great soundclip over here :http://www.swartamps.com/sounds_super_30_greg_v.htmArnie, don't you have pics of the chambers of the Talladega body and the difference between the neck and bridge mounting ?
ArnieZ Posted June 8, 2007 Author Posted June 8, 2007 Conrad,I was all set to take some pictures. The first things I saw were on the forbidden to photograph list! After that I kind of got wrapped up in the goings on that I kind of forgat I even had my camera. Sorry, I dropped the ball on that one!ArnieZ
