Thinking of building a Uke...

I know some you guys are experienced in building their own instruements. Any of you built one of this? Uke Kit

I'm thinking this will be a nice summer project, but I have no experience whatsoever in doing this. So I'm afraid I might bite off more than I can chew. Any advice?

Also the kit is for a soprano uke, did Iz use a soprano Uke on "Somewhere over the rainbow"? Just want to make sure I get the right Uke. Don't know much about Ukes. Don't know how to play it yet.
