I like the ES a lot. Very easy to control, good tone. I like the fact that it's a balanced system -- No D.I. needed. I use a Bose L1/B1 system for acoustic gigs, and the ES sounds fantastic through that. Scoop the mids a touch and you're good to go. The only downside is that it runs on AA batteries and doesn't have a battery status indicator. I've gotten into the habit of changing them out once a month on my gigging guitars. Taylor finally fixed this on the 2007 models. Does this have the wider 1.75" nut? Yessir, it does.

If it was a 614CE, I'd give up my chambered Monaco Elite, but Jumbo guitars sometimes bother my cubital tunnel syndrome.
