Gitslide Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 JB in an SG? Probably good. I hear the JB as a fairly bright pickup. The SG does not have that thick maple top like an LP and sounds a bit warmer/darker to me. The JB in my Korina Vector sounds good, but it usually seems a bit bright in the maple capped Studio/Archtop/whatever they call it this week Hamer. Always has me reaching for Hamer's superbly voiced tone control. My .02, anyhow!Rick
