Any HFC's close to Carthage, NC?

I am very close to buying a Vanguard there but I would prefer someone to look at the guitar as it is an unknown to me private seller. He seems very forthcoming and a straight shooter but I know what would make me comfortable. I'm hoping someone lives in the same town or close that has a little time on their hands to help out a fellow forumite.
