atquinn Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Great guitar that I didn't get to spend enough time with, but you know how these things go... This is a '95 Eclipse in what I am fairly certain is the flip-flop green/blue metallic finish. Before I got it, the pickups were replaced with a set of no-names (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7376193983&ru) and the bridge was replaced with a nickel intonatable tonepros. The pickups are the same as when I got it, but the bridge has been restored to the original Wilky wraparound type with chrome tonepros studs. The guitar is in very good condition. Has some dents, but nothing though the finish. Plenty of pickup scratches, that would probably buff out if you took the effort (but why bother? ). The back of the neck has 2 dents near the headstock that I didn't notice until I started taking pics and going over the condition. I don't notice them when I play, but I wrap my thumb around the neck. If your technique is flawless, you'll probably feel them (I tried to take a picture of them, but only one of them kind of shows up. The 2 dents are parallel to eachother and only a 1/4" or so apart. Here are some pics, you an see more at http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v157/atq...5/95%20Eclipse/ I'm looking for $600 shipped. PM or email me if you're interested or have any questions and stay tuned for a couple more guitars that will be going on sale soon. -Austin
Feynman Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Nice. Some trivia I just found out while googling PTQBE from your case:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_the_Quick_Black_Eyes"Scott David McCarver began PTQBE playing high-end arch-top Hamer guitars, a carry-over from his Mineral days. "So, Austin, I guess this week it's your turn to be worse than me again. Let me know when to take back over.
atquinn Posted May 11, 2008 Author Posted May 11, 2008 So, Austin, I guess this week it's your turn to be worse than me again. Let me know when to take back over. The title will be mind for a few weeks at least . It's time to enforce the one-in, one-out rule after a little while of ignoring it. -Austin
