How do those Orange bass amps compare with an Ampeg?

I tried few of the all tube bass amps a while back when I was looking and I didnt really like the tone of most of the amps because I used Hiwatts years ago....

The Ampegs are more powerful but too clean and everybody uses them so I wanted something different. I like a warm tone with a hint of growl.

IMOP, This is the best bass tone for the money and unless you are playing Shea Stadium 200 VERY LOUD watts is enough.....the quality and construction is comparable to a 70's Marshal.

the only reason I want to get rid of it is that my band is no more so Im starting a new band and playing guitar, I could use the Orange (yank 2 tubes) but I want a Vox, Marshal or HIwatt combo amp.
