craigjw1914 Posted October 25, 2008 Author Posted October 25, 2008 Craig,Serial hit it on the head. There is no "line" at Hamer devoted to the production of any single model. There are individuals who do perform the same function on most guitars. At the time my Ultimate was made there was only one luthier who did the MOP inlays. I paid extra for the Victories on my guitar because I like them, and they are uniquely Hamer. Subsequently they became stock. To insert a picture in the body of your post upload one to an image hosting site, I use photbucket. Copy the line IMG code and paste it where you want it. If you want the picture to appear in your signature, go to 'My Controls" edit signature and insert the same IMG code in that box then presto!ArnieZArnie,Thank you for the details about the luthiers at Hamer. Also thanks for the tips on the pics. I remember getting an account or whatever at photobucket likely years ago. Haven't used it in ages. Have to do it again I suppose. What I have learned about my Hamer, thanks to all the great posts by all of you is, Having one of these amazing guitars, let alone a unique, custom, top-of-the-line ArtUlt is a priviledge. Obviously the guitar market has not woken up the the quality and pleasure of a Hamer and as such, the market value is depressed.Should something happen to the company and production guidelines as we know them should stop, then I'm sure the value would skyrocket. Just like a famous artists's paintings can go crazy in value, after their death. In the meantime, I pulled the ad again and the ArtUlt stays with me. That's where she belongs.

Out of necessity, the Artist Ultimate is back on the auction block. I sure hope she goes to a HFC member. Craig
