currypowder Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I picked this up on a trade, and while it's a great amp, it's really not me. So up for your consideration is a fairly early Carr Rambler (#100) in purple tolex. Great blackface deluxe tones. The only issues are cosmetic and small. A couple of small tolex dings on the back and the tolex has separated a bit at the seams on the top. From what I understand, this was a common problem on the early models and that Carr is now covering them different as a result. Here's what Carr has to say about the Rambler: "Long before the birth of Carr Amplifiers, I spent years playing, repairing, modifying and intently listening to classic guitar amps. I've got my eye on something else, so an outright sale is preferred. That being said, though, I'll entertain trade offers.
