dont understand the description either...doesnt match the pics..."single boomerang inlay at 12th fret" am i missing something? price makes me think import...and a con?

Whats the easiest way to tell? Needs to have made in usa on headstock?

Definitely an import. You are correct. Among many other things, the headstock would read "HamerUSA"

The ad doesn't list it as a US model, but the pics look a lot better than a 6 out of 10 condition, so you may want to ask if the pics are of the actual guitar.

Oh, and the fretboard is not maple in the one shot. I think it is simply the reflection of the camera flash.

It does, thanx...and I snuck in and edited the bit about a maple board...looked maple on my laptop until i caught a different angle.lol...
