tomteriffic Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Hey guys, this is off the wall for sure, but Most Esteemed Redhead and I are looking for a well-loved but intact lefty fielder's glove. Ours went missing (possibly at the park last year) and the season starts soon. Our seats are halfway down the first base line, right in the front of the second level. Great baseball watching seats, but a good place to eat a hot-rod foul ball unexpectedly. Check the kids closet and that outdoor toy barrel in the garage. I'm not after anything fancy, just something to try to keep me from breaking my glasses. But it has to be a lefty.

Used to go to the park a bit in the 7'0s over at Riverfront. What a great team. They could do it all.Bowie Kuhn just killed the reds trying to get Charlie Finley. Cincy could've had Vida Blue and Seaver both. But Charlie Fryman. Man that was a bust.
tomteriffic Posted March 18, 2009 Author Posted March 18, 2009 Not a question of the Reds. This is their dippy little Single A team in Dayton. Brand new 7,500 seat stadium. A great place to watch baseball. But since it's a single A team, things can be pretty unpredictable around the plate, nevermind the rest of the field. Amazingly, word is they just sold out their tenth full season in a row. That's a pretty hot ticket if you ask me.
