Ranger Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 If you were not already aware, the May 2009 (yes, "May") issue of Guitar World has a one page "Soundcheck" review of the "Hamer Talladega Solidbody Electric". Author is Chris Gill. Here's the "Bottom Line" summary in the acticle..."The Talladega is the only way to go if you want a guitar with the twang of Telecaster, the howl of a Les Paul Standard and the grunt of a Les Paul Special.....Fifty years from now players will likely be speaking of the Tallageda with the same awe that guitarists currently regard Fifties Les Pauls and Teles."The whole article drooled over the various features and "flawless construction". The only "con" comment(s) I found was "very expensive, hard to find". The list price is $4,600.Check it out.....right now I'll trade my Korean Slammer PLUS anything/everything you can carry out of my house in 90 seconds for a Talladega. (Modretaors - please copy my trade offer to the buy, sell, trade page.)
mhmike Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 90 seconds, huh? Do I have to be all by myself? Can I use tools? Are you going to lock any rooms and/or jewelery, money or other small valuables away to rig the approved heisting? Provide my own transportation to/and from Michigan, plus that of the taken items? Please let me know. I don't have a Talladega, but I can procure one for the benefits seen here.

Jewels, cash, drugs or firearms are not of concern, I have little of such here these days. Especially, all my many firearms are locked in a huge safe somewhere else. If I were to provide a tip, I would suggest you focus on the fishing gear I have hereabouts. I have more than a dozen rod/reel combos worth an average of $750 each. Most reels are of triple value because each is personally tricked out with aftermarket higher quality components. (Sorta like tricking out a late 67 Camero.) Each of the 3 musky tackleboxes are full and each box is worth around a grand. I might have to hide some of this fishing loot in one or both of my boats; after all, I need something to do besides have sex with that Talladega guitar. Your road costs are your concern.Appreciate the interest!
