HoboMan Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Gibson Nighthawk. I think it's a Standard Model. Gorgeous Flame Maple Top. A few minor dings but overall VERY GOOD condition. Slanted Humbucker at the bridge & mini humbucker at the neck (both splittable). In case anybody is wondering, the Bridge PU can be swapped with an aftermarket. You simply need to remove the coils from the baseplate and use the slanted Gibson baseplate. It may require a new mounting hole to be drilled in the baseplate. This was Gibson's attempt to satisfy Fender fans. It has a 25.5" scale neck and a 5-way PU selector. Strings mount thru the body. 5-way PU selector: Bidge Humbucker Bridge Humbucker split to single coil Both PUs in single coil mode Neck Mini Humbucker split to single coil Neck Mini Humbucker VERY Lightweight. I don't have a scale but I would guess somewhere around 7lbs. Plays great with a large variety of tones. Includes a non-original case. It's not a soft case but not a hard case. Here's a link to a description of the case: RoadRunner Case As much as I love this guitar I just can't get used to a single cutaway. It's been sitting in the closet for too long. $975 Shipped & PayPal'd
