SOOO much misinformation in that video, or at least the small portion I watched. Original Gibson PAFs WERE NOT wax potted. After that the video lost ALL credibility.

I put on on my Les Paul Special. I put scratches on the top of my guitar and didn't work very well. Immediately removed it and returned it.

I know it has 2 6L6 power tubes and I think 7 preamp tubes. Are you looking for the specific brands of tubes in it? That I'm not sure about. I'd have to open it up and check.

Sounds KILLER! Good condition. Some stains on the top from gigs but no rips or tears. Works perfectly. This is the V2 model with separate volume & master volume controls for each channel. 3 channels, Clean, Mean, Seek & Destroy. This is not just for metal music. I've gigged it for years play Pop, Country, Classic Rock & Hard Rock. Very reliable. Never had an issue. Includes original 4-button footswitch. One for each channel and one to turn the effects loop on & off. I don't have the cable for the footswitch but it takes a regular guitar cord. $800 local pickup only. Madison WI area. Nice to see Vivian rocking again. I saw a youtube video where he mentions that his string gauge is 13s or something like that. Really good to see Vinnie on drums. I always thought his drumming was huge contributor to the Dio sound.

2012 Les Paul Jr. Special. Originally came with P90s. I love the tone of P90s but can't stand the buzz. I put in a set of custom vintage spec wound Vintage Vibe P90 size Humbuckers. Sounds & plays KILLER!

Thanks all. Gig went well. I got to use my Les Paul Special with the new Vintage Vibe PUs. They humbuckers that fit in a P90 PU slot. I had them custom wound. I ended up using my Budda SD18 and the rig sounded KILLER. The guitar is just a great guitar and the new PUs sounded fantastic. They are a lower PAF wind and got a great vintage tone. Kick in my TS10 for some overdrive and the leads were searing. Here's a pic of the Les Paul. I know it's not a Hamer but it's still a great guitar.

My Classic Rock Band is at Hooker Resort in Poynette WI tonight - 8-24-13. I'll probably be playing my Les Paul Jr. Special with new Vintage Vibe HP-90 PUs. Using my Budda SD45.
