Hamer Sunburst A/T P90

HI all I just bought a used Sunburst gold top with P90's. I gotta say I'm highly impressed with this git. I've owned LP's and Strats and this thing plays and feels as good as any of them. It plays better than my LP Studio.

Anyway I've decided it's worth putting a bit of cash into this and upgrade the hardware.

What size are the machine head post holes?

What size are the Tune-O- Matic bridge post holes?

Any suggestions for replacement? I was thinking about Graph Tech Supercharger kit and Grover tuners.

Is yours the USA model or one of the imports?

It's an import (XT series), that's why I was so surprised how good it is. I put 11's on it, cleaned it and set it up and it plays real nice, bends are smooth and no fretting-out anywhere on the neck.

I'm thinking of looking for a used USA model, are they really worth the extra cash? If the imports are so good then the USA models should be near perfection? They seem to be hard to find though.

The imports can be very, very good, but the USA models really blow 'em away.

The Gold Top P-90 Archtop (USA version) seems to regularly pop up for between $700 - $1,000.

Hey thanx that's lower than I thought, I've only looked at new ones so far. If I could find a P90 sunburst at that price I'd be happy.
