Where to buy korina for a project.........

I've been working on a natural refin for a Special and the paint has just managed to settle much deeper into the pores than I can get around. I'm leaning towards adding a korina cap to salvage the project. Any thoughts on where I might might find the blank stock?

What thickness are you looking for to cap the guitar?

Did you use any kind of filler before applying the finish, btw?

No, I didn't apply a filler. I'm just working with a spray on shellac. Truth be told, I over-sanded the top trying to get rid of the old paint:( I think that a 1/8" piece should cover me.

And by the way....would you happen to know what the factory specs for the body depth? Any leads on routing templates would also be much appreciated!
