Tuning Machines for Echotone

I have recently purchased a second hand Echotone (Korean). It plays great, looks great and appears to be very well made. One of the plastic keystone tuner knobs was broken and poorly repaired; so, I'm looking at replacing the tuners all together.

I've looked at Grover vintage and Gotoh vintage. It looks like the Gotoh come closest to the same size. I've also talked to Kluson about their keystone tuners and they recommended the SD90SLN; however, I've been unable to find specific measurements for those for comparison.

Anyone have any experience with replacing these tuners? Advice? Recommendations?

Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the MIK Echotones used Gotoh tuners. A friend of mine has had one for 10 years or so, and it definitely has them on it. Whether they are original to that guitar or not, I can't say with certainty, but there are no apparent alterations to his guitar.

That's good to hear. In looking at the Gotoh Vintage specs, they seem to come closer to what's on the guitar than any other so far.

Appreciate the help.
