Turdus Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 May need an education here. Bought some A series "Rock Crash" cymbals for my son's set. These are way to friggin' loud. Not only are they loud, but the ring/decay lasts for hours, lol.I'm looking for something with quick attack, not so loud, and minimal ring, if that makes sense to the drummer types. Therefore, I think I'm looking for thin, or paper thin crash.Let me know if you've got one for sale.Thanks.
geoff_hartwell Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Yep, the A series Rock cymbal is like a freakin' gong. There are definitely deals to be had on eBay for used Zildjians. I would suggest a look into the K series Dark thin, and the K custom dark as well - quick attack and decay, but a REALLY nice tone and wash to it. GH
