staggerlee Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I believe this is from 1998. Guitar is mint minus. There is some very light pitting in the chrome on the tailpiece. Other than that, she's perfect. No marks on the body or neck. No fretwear. plays like a dream. nice low action. neck is straight with no goofiness. Fingerboard looks like Brazilian but probably isn't. You'd be hard pressed to find a cleaner example of this guitar. $1000 + shipping. Not looking for any trades at this time. cmatthes Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Just a note - the serial number on the MIKs has nothing to do with the year. That model started production at some point in mid/late '99 and was made for a few years. DEFINITELY NOT Brazilian though! I was surprised at how well those guitars balance, both on a strap and while seated. Doesn't look like it would be that comfortable with all those pointy angles, but they really are.
