joek86 Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Do you guy's know if the electonics in the Elite are as good as a RS guitar's hop up kit? If not, any of you try the kit with WCR PUP's?Joe
gwayne Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I've got WCR Crossroads in my Elite with the stock pots, capacitor, etc. and I couldn't be happier - verry Dickey Betts.

I know, you would think so, but I spoke to the Jim Wagner and told him I was going after Eat A Peach era Dickey Betts to modern Warren Haynes tone and he said I ought to go with the Crossroads. They work for me, beautifully. Current amps are a Mesa Heartbreaker and Bogner XTC. The Heartbreaker, on the "Lust" (Marshall) channel comes closer to Dickey's tone on Blue Sky than anything I have ever tried.
