dewey finn Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 I have an old Seymour Duncan single coil with a white lead and a black lead. Does anyone know which wire is positive and which is ground?
atquinn Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 It would work either way. If it's out of phase in the combined position, switch the wires. What other brand pickups are you planning on using it with?-Austin
dewey finn Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 Running it in the neck position with a Pearly Gates at the bridge on a Strat style guitar.

dewey finn Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 Thanks! Sice it was a Strat style guitar I wanted to be 100% sure so I didn't waste a set of strings rewiring it if I set it up out of phase. I couldn't find those diagrams this morning.
