Hamer & Gotoh Tailpiece

have a US '01 standard, '04 studio and '05 monaco, each of which have schaller tuners, "made in germany" bridges and gotoh tailpieces. Since rest of hardware is schaller (assuming "made in german" bridge is schaller) seems like the gotoh is an odd mix. Were gotoh tailpieces standard issue and if so from what period and when was the switch to tonepros?

I know at least one of my Standard Customs (maybe they all do) has a Gotoh tailpiece. It's Gold and I tried to replace it with a Gibson branded one and the posts are a different spacing. The Gotoh gold plating isn't nearly as good. The bridge looks new, while the tailpiece looks worn... instead of the other way around.
