Ever since I missed that one at the Columbus show a few years ago, I've wanted to find one.'59 Burst, I had the guy (Mosssman Music, IIRC) talked down to like $600 (yeah, let that sink in for a while), but he wouldn't take a check or a credit card. Must have been 1996 or so. It had been there at the last two or three shows, at least. Decided if it was at the NEXT show, I'd go find a cash machine. Walked up and the guy was taking a check for it from "a fellow VFW'er". It would have been my first Hamer. Instead it was the one that got away.
