I was wondering what, if any, tonal differences there are between the mid-90s Studios with the wrap tail and comfort curve/belly cut and the later ones without belly cut and TOM bridge? Does the fact that the belly cut means less mass have any noticeable effect on the tone, or is it negligible? Also wondering what years they did the belly carve and why they stopped.
