Caddie was kind enough to sell me an orange jewel of a guitar recently (a NGD post will be coming shortly) and he mentioned that I might consider locking studs as an upgrade. This got me thinking:
1. Which (if any) of the tonepros locking studs would fit the existing inserts?
2. Is the hardware on this era of Hamer nickel or chrome? I never much thought about the difference until I was trying to buy schaller strap locks to fit the existing strap buttons and saw that there were like 5 colors of "silver".
Edit - 3. Are any of the schaller locking tuners exact fits for the mounting holes for the stock tuners?
