JohnnyB Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 A customer gave me a Denon DP45F with new cartridge and stylus. How'd I do?Wow! Very cool. Those are still well-liked (and sought out) 25 years later. It would be worth taking it to a knowledgeable turntable tech for a checkup. At the very least direct drive turntables need fresh oil for the main bearing for about every 1,000 hrs of play. What is the new cartridge?Congratulations.
elduave Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 Not sure the cartridge but here's a pic of the whole thing. It's at the store, I'm at home...
JohnnyB Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 I definitely can't tell what the cart is from that picture. That's a pretty nice gift. Those regularly go for around $200 on eBay today.
