need info on Hamer Chaparral Bass

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about selling my Chaparral Bass and I could use some advice. It has an interesting finish that I have never seen before or since.

Does anyone know how many of these exist and what they are worth?

If I recall, one of the guys (Cajun? or other New Orleanian area member) here had a nice one in the same (Irridescent) finish that he sold for I think $400-500 range.

I think it took him a few months to move it. It may have also been the 5-strig version.

The one down here was a five-string. Reverse headstock, also in irridescent.

Cajun Boy bought it from BCR. I bought it from Cajun. Toby has it in Korea now.

The price range is correct but it didn't sit for a few months -- maybe 2-3 weeks max.

VERY kick butt bass.
