chewie37 Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 I've posted this a couple of times before and have had moderate interest but thought I'd give it one more try. Looking to get what I have in it - $400. It's a black 88 Chaparral bolt on (and a case) with no major cosmetic defects. The only issue is a little bit of strangeness in the 5 way switch that I've taken a look at with no great results. But, as Greg kindly pointed out while he was repairing my 12 string, my skills with a soldering iron are questionable at the least. Here's a link to , pictures, if anyone's interested. I'm pretty sure they're the originals (whatever those were in 1988), but I'm also pretty sure they've been taken out and put back in. Long story, but I bought the guitar used, sold it to another HFC'er and then bought it back. No OCD problem for me, really . .. So between at least 3 owners it's probably had an interesting history. I'll take a look at the pickups though - not only to answer your question but to have an answer for anyone else too.
