Ipad users??

So, I am putting videos of My daughter's favorite books on my wife's Ipad, and I am wondering if I can take a picture with the camera and use it as the "thumbnail" for a video. What I want to do is take a picture of the cover of each book and use it to be a cover for a video of me reading the book.

1) does this make sense?

2) can it be done?

I did this a long time ago with my Ipod, where I recorded the audio of me reading the book and used the pic of the cover as the "album art" but I don't see a way to do this with a video file.

you want to do this on the iPad or do you have a Mac or Pc also.

You need iMovie on the ipad and you can use photos or videos, extend the length the photo shows then record your voiceover using the built in tools in iMovie.

iMovie on iPad is pretty awesome.
