I swear this thing sounds like a hot Tele more than anything.
Chappy Elite with a PATB in the bridge, which means bolt-on maple neck with Ebony 'board and 25.5" scale. How would I know if it was wired in parallel or something goofy like that? When the bridge pickup is engaged and I tap one the pole staples, they sound out on both coils. I'm baffled, and the pickups mount directly to a PC board for the Sustainiac system. I'm not saying this is a BAD thing tonally, but I kinda wanted to have a shreddy Floyd guitar and this thing is not quite that.
Would pics of the wiring guts help? Audio clips to see if I've just been listening to too much Keith Urban? WTF is going on here?
