I love the balance of my Studio Custom and Artist Custom and the lower inputs do create a nice texture (I know some are not SD fans but I am using these as an example) but I also like (some of) the kick that the FM has. Really hoping to find a happy medium between a nice balance with the neck and bridge while still maintaining some bite at the bridge. (damn - I dont ask for much ).Think I will focus on the Mule neck and Blackdog bridge . If I do go for it and I am not happy with that combo in my FM I am thinking they might make good candidates for my Superpro but that is a whole different story (hey - I did promise that was my last question ) . Just contact Tim and he will make things right. Plus when you buy direct there is no tax and no shipping charge. (I'm pretty sure) Plus you can get a calibrated set and he will even tweak them a little bit for free. Wow
