My 80s Chappy has the 3 mini toggles which create lots of interesting sounds, but not really the kinds of sounds I'd ever use. I'm a meat and potatoes kind of guy I guess.
What I'd like to do is disconnect the middle pickup (will be removed), just have Master Volume and Master Tone, and just use ONE of the 3 mini switches in the way a normal guitar works (for the neck and bridge pickups only). So I'd have ONE switch giving me neck only, both neck and bridge in parallel, and bridge only.
If the mini was a normal 3-way I could wire it up no problem, but I think its an "on off on" type switch. Not too sure about this or how to check.
Any ideas about how I can use just one of these 3 mini switches to achieve what I want? Or, if I have to buy a new switch, where can I get one that will fit in the hole without having to enlarge it to the size of a Gibson 3-way toggle, or something?
