BCR Greg Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 When is the last time that you saw one of these? Built to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Chicago, this is one of two small Gibson flat tops that used flame maple for the back and sides (the other being the incredibly desirable Nick Lucas Model). This model was the only one to use a pearloid fingerboard. The neck is a nice V shape(with truss rod) and the guitar has a strong voice and great sustain. Did I mention that it's BAD ASS? $1799 with brand new hsc.
stobro Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 The last time I saw one of those was this morning at the Chicago guitar show! It was out of my bottom-feeder price range, so I didn't inspect it too closely. It looks like yours is in much better shape.
