Guest galejt Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Martin 000-28 1951 "What do I say about this guitar. I bought this guitar from a well known collector who had it in his collection since the 1970s. The guitar is in excellent condition with no cracks or major dings. There are small marks here and there as expected from a played guitar over 50 years old. The neck is straight and there is a bit of finish wear in the first to fourth fret area. The guitar plays great and sounds wonderful. The Brazilian Rosewood has a deep rich orange color and is spectacular. Sides and back match perfect. The fret board is also in excellent condition. The guitar comes with a new Martin Hard shell case. These model 000-28s are very hard to find in this condition from this time period. Martin made 75% less of these models in the early fifties then their D size brothers. EXC HSC $12,500" http://www.islandguitars.com/vintinv.htm Me want!
