I'm looking for a video cam with the specific requirements that it be good in low light and have a good-sounding audio component. As you might surmise, the primary use would to shoot band videos.
My phone barely makes it onto the short bus so it hardly qualifies as a smart phone. And a lot of what I've seen on other videos has been either dark, fuzzy, or both.
I'm looking hard at the GoPro line but am not sure where the bang/buck sweet spot is and I'm at a loss beyond that. the Fostex dealie sounds good but is lousy in low light (sometimes what looks like good light is only so because our eyes have adjusted)
