motorpriest Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I remember reading somewhere that, in an SSS set, these included three Seymour Duncan APS-1.What about those with the HSS config? And were by any chance Vintage Rails included in either of these two configs?
motorpriest Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 Thanks for the reply. My brother acquired an Vintage S some time ago, HSS, with Hamer branded Schaller Floyd Rose, but clearly modified at some point. So the bridge humbucker was swapped for some Kent Armstrong, and I don´t have a clue about its single coils. He´s trying to bring it back as close as possible to its original specs.http://imgur.com/1fOhRm6
Andrew Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 The 'Modern Vintage' Vintage S (ie: 1992 on) did have 3x APS-2 staggered for Strat Seymour Duncans. The earlier superstrat version (1990) probably had a pair of SSL-1s and a JB humbucker, like the Centaura. I have seen various pickups but I believe the majority of Hamers from around 1990 had a Seymour Duncan JB bridge.
