I am inside a 86 chap..what is the stock pups....SD? or Dimarz?

and then it has a floating kahler 2500(I believe)...and the saddle have these little tubes and they are all broken or cracked...does it hurt to not have the tube piece..and is there another bridge that is a direct fit that does not have so many pieces to break?

secondly is there any thing I need about setting it or does is set up like other floating trems?

Hamer Slammers made by Dimarzio 10-11K bridge, singles about 5.5k ohm, all black coils. Unless a Custom then OBLs mostly.

The Kahler Fulcrum 2500 was standard equipment on the Chaparral for a while and sets up much the same as a Floyd, but the pivots are much closer together so not interchangeable. Keep the original bridge as the spares are easily sourced from Kahler:

The SDs would be replacement pickups.
