Ronny K Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 I've got a nearly mint 93 USA Diablo. It has a 24 fret (25 1/2" scale) neck w/locking nut. It has dual humbuckers and a floyd style pup and a reverse headstock. The guitar is an 8 or 9 out of 10. Absoultely NO damage. I've got nearly $1200 in the guitar, a HSC and some custom pup wiring I had done. I've got a new baby on the way and am trying to move it. I hate to part w/it but I need the $$$. I'd like to get $650 but will consider any "reasonable" offer. Here are the pix. Somebody get themself an AWESOME ax at a GREAT price!
Ronny K Posted December 1, 2005 Author Posted December 1, 2005 No interest........? Did I say something wrong? Somebody talk to me.......!!! Please.
marcnorth Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 From what I've seen these sell on ebay for about $350 to $400. I'm sure that's why no interest. Here's a link to one: http://cgi.ebay.com/1993-HAMER-USA-DIABLO-...1QQcmdZViewItem
Ronny K Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 Dude...that is depressing. I feel like for the $ I've got in this guiter, I got RIPPED! But thanks for that bit of info marc. This doesn't change the fact that I've GOTTA move this guitar though. I'm open to bids......the respectable ones anyway. Can someone that needs a solid ax please help a brother out?!?!?!
kurtsstuff Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 Well...guess i'll be the first to offer the obligatory Treefiddy!!
Ronny K Posted December 2, 2005 Author Posted December 2, 2005 Thx for the obligatory. Add a buckfiddy + kwinnyfive for shipping (for all you guitar slingers that ain't down with it...... that's an additional $150 + $25) and you just bought yourself a fine piece! Come on!!! Any takers? Baby needs a new pair of shoes.....................!!! Seriously. Please make me some offers. I need to move this piece.
zygleth Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Ronnie K - what's your lowest price? We've got three kids so I can empathize but mine are entering the expensive car, college years! Thanks
Ronny K Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 I understand zy. Would $475 shipped do it for ya? That'll still leave you enough for a down payment on a nice economy car!
zygleth Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 RK- I really don't know much about these models but I have 2 othert Hamers. Is it stock except for the wiring improvements? Scratched/dents? I guess just a bit more detail would be helpfull. Yes I am interested at that price, I just don't have enough info on those models yet. Fair? Thanks
Ronny K Posted December 4, 2005 Author Posted December 4, 2005 Hey zy. Yeah I had some wiring work done and I had a 5 way switch put in in place of the stock 3 way for more versatility. But everything else is stock. There is no issue with the guitar cosmetic, electircal or otherwise. There are a couple of places that you can see in the clearcoat if you hold it in the light just right that look like minor imperfections in the wood. But they were there when I bought the guitar new. They have no effect on any aspect of this piece. There is minimal fret ware. But I have gigged out with this guitar no more than two dozen times. The rest of the play it has seen has been either right here at home or just jamming with friends in a studio or garage. I'll stand behind this guitar to the point that if you feel it is not as solid as I have stated, you pay the shipping back and I'll send you your money (less the shipping) back. Just so you know, the pix show another floyd. That is gone. The deal would include the guitar, hsc and the wrenches. I look forward to hearing back from you!
zygleth Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 RK - sent email without reply. PLease let me know if you're still interested. Thanks
Ronny K Posted December 5, 2005 Author Posted December 5, 2005 Zy....you still out there man? I emailed you back. Maybe you're working and haven't read it yet. Anyway, I've got a writing session tonight w/one of the bands I'm with. If you respond and I don't tonight, I'll be in touch tomorrow. Later!
